THE OPPORTUNITY: The Vision Community Foundation is deeply connected to the global economy through trade, a diverse citizenry, multinational businesses and entrepreneurial philanthropic leadership. What is less well-known is that Vision Community Foundation has partnerships with a large number of nonprofit organizations, businesses and academic institutions actively engaged in improving the economic, social and environmental conditions of the community. The Vision Community Foundation has been established to fulfill the needs of the community. It will do so by bringing together diverse constituents and acting as a catalyst for the innovation and synergy that come from a shared mission of improving the lives of the community.

OUR MISSION: The Vision Community Foundation supports and promotes the development of the people within our community. Comprised of partnerships with other nonprofit organizations, large corporations, small businesses and both public and private academic institutions, the VCF shares the goal of building a better community to become self sufficient.

OUR VISION: The Vision Community Foundation will be a recognized center of influential and innovative community development activities where diverse groups work collectively to build a community where opportunities are available for all people.

Programs and Support Services

We currently offer prevention services and programs to Women, Men, Heterosexual, Transgender, Youth, Gay, and Lesbian individuals in the greater Atlanta area. We’ve manifested doctors, nurses, certified counselors, certified trainers, social workers, and group facilitators all of which have received extensive training in the area of HIV/AIDS education. It is our belief that with such a vast array of leadership we are not only equipped to implement an effective HIV/AIDS Health Initiative program but are also required to provide education and prevention to our present population as well as the community at large.
